Blogger Valya Carnival announced on Instagram her decision to cancel her birthday party due to her mother’s stroke (the owner of the company Meta is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).
“Due to recent events and doctors banning my mother from flying from Dubai to Moscow, we have to stay here indefinitely. Given the current situation, I decided to cancel my birthday celebration. I don’t even see the point of this anymore,” Carnival wrote.
He apologized to friends who bought him gifts or changed party plans. The blogger also expressed his hope that he will be able to celebrate the holiday properly next year.
