The cultural and educational event “Night of Art” will be held in Moscow on November 4. This year it will combine music, theater and concert genres with excursions, lectures, master classes and street exhibitions, the event’s press service told socialbites.ca.
“The events will be especially interesting for connoisseurs of the works of poets Vladimir Mayakovsky, Andrei Voznesensky, Evgeny Yevtushenko, composer Sergei Rachmaninov, architect Alexei Shchusev, engineer Vladimir Shukhov, whose anniversaries are celebrated this year. “The opening of the event will take place at the New Manege,” said the organizers.
Within the scope of “Art Night”, more than 170 events will be held in Moscow and there will be nearly 100 venues. The event will start with a theater tour called “Poetry Tour”. Starting from 17.00, artists in the image of Vladimir Mayakovsky will begin to act from six different points related to the poet’s biography: the State Mayakovsky Museum on Krasnaya Presnya Street and Lubyansky Proezd, building 15/13 on Mayakovsky Lane, the Ilya Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture , Mosselprom House and Izvestia newspaper building.
