Roman Polanski’s New Year’s comedy “The Palace”, starring Alexander Petrov, Mickey Rourke, Fanny Ardant, Oliver Masucci and John Cleese, will be released on November 23. This was told to socialbites.ca by the press service of the distribution company Pro:Vzglyad, which released the film in Russia.

The trailer for the movie “Palace” was published on Petrov’s page on the social network. Comments compare the footage to Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Buddha Hotel.” The actor admitted that participating in the filming was a real adventure for him, describing the film as “extraordinary”.
“During rehearsals, I suddenly felt that Roman Polanski reminded me of my master Leonid Heifetz. This is a school! We had an international team, Roman switched from English to French on the field, then from Polish to English. It didn’t matter what language he spoke, I understood him as if he were on another level,” Petrov said.
The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival.
