Russian writer Tatyana Muromtseva, niece of Nobel Prize winner Ivan Bunin, died on Tuesday at the age of 101. This was reported by Zoya Arrignon, head of the Russian mission of the cultural association La Renaissance Française (“French Renaissance”), she writes: TASS.

Zoya Arrignon noted that Tatyana Vladimirovna Muromtseva celebrated her 100th birthday in September. He was born in Moscow and was the nephew of Ivan Bunin and also the grandson of Sergei Muromtsev, the first chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Empire.

Muromtseva published a memoir titled “In Search of My Russia” (A la recherche de ma Russie par Tatiana Mouromzeff) in France in 2012, which was subsequently translated into Russian.

The book contains many pages devoted to the author’s mother, Natalia Muromtseva-Saarbekova, who sent him to Paris in the early 1930s to live with her grandmother, opera singer Maria Klimentova-Muromtseva. Tatyana Muromtseva lived most of her life in France.
