Screenings of the play “The Cry of the Lobster” staged by Mikhail Tsitrinyak on the stages of the Berdyansk City Palace of Culture and the Melitopol Railway Workers’ Palace of Culture with the participation of People’s Artist of Russia Yulia Rutberg and People’s Artist Andrei Ilyin took place in Russia, according to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Russia .
Tours of the theater that bears his name. Vakhtangov concerts in Berdyansk and Melitopol were organized by Rosconcert in accordance with the All-Russian tour and concert plan of the Ministry of Culture.
Theater director, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Kirill Krok noted that the group was very warmly welcomed in Berdyansk.
“The audience did not leave us for a long time, thanked us for not being afraid and asked us to come more often if possible. They said they needed to meet some really beautiful people <…> We were literally overwhelmed with love and hopefully we gave them a little bit of happiness and hope and most importantly an island of Russian culture,” said Krok.
In Melitopol, the number of people wanting to enter the hall was twice the number of seats. Potential spectators formed a queue of meters in front of the entrance of the hall.
