Russian actor and film director Alexander Pankratov-Cherny told socialbites.ca that he took a double surname after his namesake Alexander Pankratov, the nephew of cinematographer Eduard Tisse. According to the artist, he received the prefix Black because of his hair color.
“They took me to Goskino by force. Because cameraman Tisse has his namesake, his nephew Sasha Pankratov! And there’s no need to hold on to celebrities! Sasha is blonde – she is even called “White” in the press, and I was brunette – Black! Here, so you don’t get confused!” said.
Before that, the actor, in a conversation with the media, said that his real name is Guzev, and Pankratov, as he was named after his mother’s first husband, who was not repressed. He also reported that the second Alexander Pankratov had red hair.
