The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against cartoonist Oleg Kuvaev for a video featuring Masyanya in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Telegram channel reports this Puree.

In the message, “A criminal case has been opened against Oleg Kuvaev, the author of the cartoons about Masyanya, under the title “Public appeal to activities aimed at the security of the state.”

It was noted that Kuvaev, using a website created with the support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, prepared a video in which Masyanya called on Russian military personnel to surrender to the Ukrainian side.

Kuvaev currently lives in Israel.

Previously Kuvaev statedthat the website of the animated series was blocked by Roskomnadzor.
