Kharatyan noted that Russia now produces its own high-quality goods.

“Otherwise we would be stuck with imported ones. Any situation improves through overcoming it. I see this in people too. Meanings emerged. “We are now fighting for the future and prosperity of our country, our children and our grandchildren,” he said.

Canada imposed personal sanctions on Kharatyan. The 63-year-old artist is also included in the database of the Ukrainian website “Peacemaker”, which collects information about citizens dangerous to Ukraine’s national security.
