Created by creator Mike Judge, Beavis and Butt-Head Make the Universe will premiere June 23 exclusively on the Paramount streaming service. This has been reported Hollywood Reporter.

An official trailer has surfaced online, showing the iconic cartoon characters continuing their old antics in a new realm.

Somehow, Beavis and Butt-head will go to space in 1998 and again in 2022. They clash with the Texas governor, the National Security Agency, and “a very sensitive version of themselves from a parallel universe.”

The film is one of several Beavis and Butt-head projects that Paramount+ has worked on since the animated series. came to life in the middle of 2020. The animated series has been revived with a two-season order that includes several spin-offs and movies.

While the series was scheduled to return to Comedy Central, it moved to Paramount+ earlier this year as Paramount Global, like other holdings, continues to prioritize building its subscription platforms. Both the series and movies join the library of over 200 episodes of the original MTV comedy about two sloths.
