Actor Will Smith once confronted wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s partner over an on-screen kiss. In this respect reports Page Six excerpt from an interview with actor Tommy Davidson.
Davidson was filming Wu (1998) with Pinkett Smith and kissed the actress without notice in the final scene.
Learning this, Smith came to the actor’s trailer and filmed a jealous scene for him.
“He stood over me and said: ‘Son, I don’t approve of this, I don’t approve of it.’ I said I didn’t know what he was talking about; I know how to get out of such situations,” the 59-year-old actor said.
Pinkett Smith, who was also present, tried to calm her husband down, according to Davidson.
“He said to me: ‘Explain what’s going on? A? A?” And he bit his lip as if he was going to do something,” the actor recalled.
Davidson said he then stood up, stood in front of the actor and offered to talk somewhere away from prying eyes. Pinkett-Smith intervened and the incident was resolved.
