Greta Gerwig, the creator of Barbie, admitted that she started having nightmares while working on the new movie. His words were quoted los angeles times.

“I’m writing a script right now. And it’s very difficult because I have nightmares all the time,” said the director.

Gerwig also did not specify which project she was referring to. The Los Angeles Times claims that the director is working on a Netflix adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia. The streaming service acquired the rights to all seven of Clive Staples Lewis’ books in 2018.

Gerwig, together with Noah Baumbach, wrote the script for the film, which is about the escape of the Barbie doll (Margot Robbie) from the doll world, as she experiences an internal crisis.

On August 31, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation refused to issue distribution certificates to the films “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer”, saying that both films did not comply with “Russian spiritual values”.
