The creator of the movie “Bull” with Yura Borisov will shoot a crime drama with Agnia Ditkovskite 12:59

Filming has begun on the crime comedy “On Automatics”, starring actress Agnia Ditkovskite and artist Nikolai Schreiber. Kinopoisk’s press service reported this to socialbites.ca.

The first day of shooting took place in a quarry near Lake Tinaki in the Narimanovsky district of the Astrakhan region.

In the story, in the provincial town of Neyasny, brothers Roma (Vyacheslav Kopeikin) and Zhenya (Denis Kosikov) accidentally find expensive items in an abandoned garage. The young people’s desire to make money quickly triggers a series of events that will change the lives of the town and its heroes.

“On Automatics” was directed by Boris Akopov, creator of the crime drama “Bull” with Yura Borisov and winner of the main prize of the 30th Open Russian Film Festival “Kinotavr”. The director described the upcoming project as a real experiment for him, since he had never shot a TV series before.

“Among the many scripts I read, it seemed that it would be interesting for me to work and try myself in this genre, which is a crime comedy, which is completely new for me,” he emphasized.

Shooting will continue until the end of November. The premiere is planned to be held in 2024.
