Grigory Leps and Dima Bilan will not attend the concert held in memory of singer Yuri Shatunov. This information is reported by the portal “AiF”.
According to Sergei Fadeev, director of the company ARS-Records, one of the organizers of the concert, the participation of Leps and Bilan in the event was discussed, but they could not do it due to objective circumstances. So Bilan had been planning a concert in Chelyabinsk for October 17 for a long time.
Fadeev recalled that Shatunov sang “About White Roses” in a duet with Bilan at the New Wave festival in 2021. Fadeev emphasized that it was very difficult to gather such a large number of artists in one evening in Moscow. For this reason, some of those who wanted to give a concert in memory of Shatunov could not do so.
The concert is scheduled to take place on October 17 at CROCUS CITY HALL. He will perform songs from Shatunov’s repertoire.
