Serbian director Emir Kusturica said that he could shoot a part of the movie, adapted from Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment”, in the Krasnodar Region because the weather is “sunny”. This was reported by RIA News.
He emphasized that Dostoyevsky was close to him and that the film would be shot next year.
“I can’t shoot without the sun, I’m dependent on the sun. “I think there is too much sun in your area,” says the director.
Kusturica added that there was a possibility that shooting would take place in the Krasnodar region. The second half of the film will be shot in Moscow.
