Shvedov played Makar Korolev, Elisha’s father, in the comedy Ivanko. The series tells the story of two unsuccessful teachers in their 30s who try to help each other in life.
In the interview, Shvedov also stated that he saw no difference between male and female directors. According to him, the difference between filmmakers is not evident in gender, but in experience and professionalism.
“I do not divide directors into men and women. If a movie is great, it doesn’t matter to me who made it, but later I will be happy when I learn the director’s story and that the movie pushed me to do it. And no, I don’t have a favorite female director,” the actor said.
