Singer Yulia Savicheva admitted in an interview with journalist Laura Dzhugelia that she and other participants in the “Star Factory” did not understand their popularity when participating in the show.
According to Savicheva, the heroes of the project did not understand how people began to “adore them like hell” because they simply “lived quietly.” The only time they could measure their success was at Friday concerts.
“We saw people gather around our car and start admiring it like crazy. Didn’t we understand how this happened?” – shared the star.
Savicheva recalled how difficult it was for her to walk on the street after the project due to the increased attention of passers-by. She stated that she continued to ride the subway even after she gained popularity. According to the star, that’s why he developed the habit of not looking at people.
“You know, I’m just used to not looking around, staying as I am,” the artist joked.
Yulia Savicheva became famous after participating in the second season of the Star Factory project. The singer was among the top five finalists. There were also Elena Terleeva, Elena Temnikova, Maria Rzhevskaya and Polina Gagarina. In 2004, Savicheva represented Russia at the Eurovision international music contest and took 11th place.
