Singer Nikolai Baskov admitted that he was not ashamed of the scandalous video “Ibiza”, which he created together with Philip Kirkorov. The artist shared this with: “Channel Five”.
“I believe that an artist should not be ashamed of anything. Because this is creativity, either someone likes it or they don’t,” said Baskov.
He explained that “Ibiza” is a product of time, the result of “what’s going on around us”.
“We looked at what our Western colleagues were doing and we sank deeper and deeper,” the artist said.
Baskov also added that he would no longer take part in the creation of such a project.
The premiere of the video “Ibiza” by Philip Kirkorov and Nikolai Baskov took place on September 7, 2018. In this film, two artists argue with each other, then one mixes the goat’s semen into the other’s drink and then arranges it so that it gets soaked in the sewer.
The work was criticized by fans of the musicians. As a result, the artists decided to apologize to fans by filming a parody of rapper Kanye West and Lil Pump’s “I Love It” video. Kirkorov and Baskov said that they “deserved all the dislikes” and that they “wanted to make a joke”.
Previously Kanye West organized Photoshoot of a half-naked wife on the streets of Florence.
