Director Karen Shakhnazarov admitted that she was disturbed by Vladimir Menshov’s film “Love and Doves”. The producer stated this in an interview on his YouTube channel. “Manuchi’s Empathy”.

The director described his colleague as a wonderful and extraordinary person and stated that he missed him very much.

The premiere of the film “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears” took place in the USSR in 1979. In 1980, the film became the leader in the Soviet box office, watched by about 90 million viewers.
