The press service of the Ministry of Culture of Russia refused to receive an application for a distribution certificate for the serial film “Bar “One Call”, starring Danila Kozlovsky. This was reported by TASS.
“The Russian Ministry of Culture has not received an application for the issuance of a distribution certificate for the feature film “Bar” One Call”, which will be released as part of the “New Season” festival,” the ministry said.
The artist’s brother and press spokesman, Yegor Kozlovsky, said he had “no information” about the application.
At the “New Season” press service on September 11 reportedIt was stated that the TV series ‘Bar ‘One Call’ did not receive a rental document and was therefore removed from the program.
According to the plot of the series written by Sergei Filatov, investigator Andrei (Alexander Ilyin) is looking for Vitya (Kai Goetz), the young son of his comatose wife. He learns that the boy was last seen at the Tek Call bar. However, it is difficult to find this place because the facility appears in different places each time.
The establishment is run by a local bartender (Kozlovsky) who invites visitors to seek the next world and pay by playing Russian roulette.
The series also featured Maxim Vitorgan, Oksana Akinshina, Polina Aug, Egor Ship, Kai Getz, Serafima Goshchanskaya, Marina Vorozhishcheva, Oleg Ryazantsev, Artem Osipov and other artists.
The New Season festival will take place from September 7 to 12 in Sochi’s resort town Rosa Khutor. As part of the festival, Russia’s largest platforms Start, Kion, Okko, Kinopoisk, Premier, Ivi and Wink will present the main premieres of the 2023-2024 season.
