The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation against People’s Artist of Russia Liya Akhedzhakova for an article that discredits the Russian Armed Forces. This has been reported TASS referring to law enforcement.
“As regards Leah Akhedzhakova, an investigation is underway in accordance with the article on the discrediting of the Russian Armed Forces, and a procedural decision will be made as a result,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to the source, the artist could face a fine or administrative arrest. According to the agency, the actions of the actor are being studied by employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.
