Death at the Festival
Famous actress Lea Garcia died at the age of 91 on August 15 in Gramado, Brazil. It has been reported G1 Sphereand later endorsed by the son of the artist Marcelo. The cult of the series in the USSR
The series was based on the 1875 novel of the same name by Bernardo Guimarães. According to the description in the book, Rosa stood out favorably among the slaves with external data:
“She had a slender and supple body, a delicate face with well-defined lips – sensual, moist and red, like a miracle flower blooming early on an April morning. The black eyes were not very large, they shone with a charming liveliness and mischief. Black curly hair can become the adornment of any European aristocrat … “
The character of Garcia in the series was far from this definition. His attitude towards Izaura was also different from the original source – according to the novel, Rose was cruel to the main character, but did not go beyond sarcastic jokes.
The series, which was shown in Brazil in 1976-1977, only appeared on the screens of Soviet viewers in 1988, after which it became a cult. It was re-released in 1990 at the request of the audience. In addition, after the telenovela in the Soviet Union, the word “hacienda” came to be used definitively, mainly to ironically describe suburban areas of 6-10 acres.
