At a concert by the American rock band The Killers in Georgia, soloist Brandon Flowers invited a drummer from Russia to the stage. These release reports Paper Cartridge.
The performance of the group took place at the Black Sea Arena stadium in Batumi. During the concert, one of the audience opened a poster with the words “If fate is so, I will be your drummer tonight” (if fate permits, I will be your drummer today – “socialbites.ca”). The Killers vocalist invited the man to the stage and asked where he was from. The young man said that his name is Andrei and that he is from Russia. To this, the soloist said that this was not a problem for him and asked the audience if it was acceptable for them to play together.
In response to Flowers’ move, some spectators began leaving the arena saying obscene words. Despite this, the band performed a song with a Russian drummer. At the same time, the soloist said that all people are brothers and the concert continued.
Following the news about the incident, Georgia Tbilisi Radio announced that The Killers songs were taken off the air.
Prior to that, the Mash Telegram channel featured actor Vitaly Gogunsky, known for his role as Kuzi in the TV series Univer, they didn’t let me in to Georgia. It was announced that the artist was taken to the plane at the Tbilisi airport accompanied by the border. Gogunsky was supposed to participate in the filming of the project in Georgia.
