Estonian theater and film actress Ita Ever has died at the age of 92. It has been reported draamateeater.ee.

Ita Ever was born in Paide, Estonian SSR in 1931. She was in a drama circle even during her school years. In 1953, the artist graduated from the GITIS studio in Estonia. After college she started working at the Estonian Drama Theatre, where she played around 120 roles.
Ever is best known for her role as Miss Marple in Vadim Derbenev’s movie The Secret of the Blackbirds. The film is based on Agatha Christie’s novel A Pocket Full of Rye.
Ever’s filmography includes more than 50 works. He starred in such projects as “Endhouse Mystery”, “Coupling, Polbootka and Moss Beard”, “Estonian in Paris”, “State Frontier”. Movie 7. Salty Wind”, “Amber Wings”, “Cobra”, “Spring”.
In 1966, Ever was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Estonian SSR, and in 1973 he became People’s Artist of the Estonian SSR. In 2001, the actress was awarded the III degree of the State Order of the White Star for her achievements in the fields of culture.
Previously Vera Vasilyeva, the oldest People’s Artist of the USSR, died.
