Singer Alla Pugacheva supported Yuri Shevchuk, the leader of the group “DDT”. He posted an appeal to a colleague on Instagram (the owner, Meta, was considered extremist and banned in Russia).
“Bcex, who believes in you, is no less. Everyone who loves you is with you. You’re tearing the veil over the lies. Citizen, patriot, sing! – Primadonna wrote on her personal blog.
Previously, several DDT concerts were canceled in Russia. Expected to take place in 2023, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Orenburg and other cities were postponed indefinitely. Also, the concerts of the group in Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk were canceled for the third time.
In July 2022, it became known that a list of artists “banned” in Russia was published. Including: “DDT”, “Time Machine”, “Aquarium” and others. In August, the court found Yuri Shevchuk, the leader of the DDT group, guilty in the case of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. At the Ufa Soviet Court, they announced that the musician was fined during the concert for asking public questions that could cause fans to doubt the purpose of the special operation in Ukraine.
