The American rock band The Voidz, founded by The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas, released their first song “Prophecy of the Dragon” after two years. The conclusion writes about it.
It is currently unknown whether The Voidz is preparing to release a new album in the near future.
As the publication notes, the group has not released a full-length album since 2018, when The Voidz’s second album “Virtue” came out. After that, the band released three singles: the songs “The Eternal Tao” and “Did My Best” produced by Mac Demarco (both in 2019) and the song “Alien Crime Lord” (2021) in the game Grand Theft Auto Online Casablancas radio return of the station.
The new release of The Voidz comes two weeks after French electronic duo Daft Punk released the previously unreleased track “Infinity Repeating” recorded with Casablancas. The track was featured on the tenth anniversary re-release of the band’s latest album, “Random Access Memories.” On this LP, Casablancas also sang vocals on the song “Instant Crush”.
Previously Foo Fighters presented the song “Show Me How”.
