Australian entertainer and TV presenter Rolf Harris has died at the age of 94. It has been reported daily mail.

The cause of death was cancer. The showman suffered from throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2022. The host died on 10 May, but his death was only recorded today by Windsor and Maidenhead Council. The artist was cremated and buried.

Rolf Harris began working as a television animator in 1952. Soon the showman tried himself in the field of music. In 1957 his hit “Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport” reached number one in the UK, Australia and the US. In 1963, the single’s remake reached number three on the US Billboard Hot 100. In 1963, Harris performed with The Beatles on the BBC. He later became active in television and TV shows.

In July 2014, Harris was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison for sexual harassment, including against children. The showman used his popularity to gain favor with the victim. It also scared him with his status if he was going to sue him. He was deprived of the BAFTA award, as well as the orders of the British Empire and Australia.
