The performance of the play “Einstein and Margarita”, which was expected to take place on the stage of the Youth Palace in Yekaterinburg, was suddenly canceled. Portal reports Yekaterinburg online.
The production was supposed to be shown on May 18, but the poster disappeared from the Youth Palace website. At the same time, no official announcement was made regarding the cancellation of the performance.
The project includes actors Ksenia Rappoport and Alexei Serebryakov. The organizers of the artists’ tour commented on the situation. “The show has been cancelled. Ticket prices will be refunded. You have to write a statement where it was purchased. It happened. There is no concrete answer to this question, we are still at a loss. This season will definitely not happen,” he said.
Previous performances with Rappoport and Serebryakov were also canceled in other Russian cities. According to unconfirmed information, this may be due to the artists’ criticism of the special operation in Ukraine and the support of celebrities involved in a number of foreign agents.
