The artist confirmed that the artistic director of the theater fired him and his wife Olga Vasilyeva for criticizing the special operation in Ukraine. Khabensky found excuses for himself – he saved the ensemble, he saved the theater. That’s why he got rid of us. We wanted to justify that it saved 29 male actors from mobilization. Time passed, and now we are sure that this is a lie, ”said Nazarov.
Vasilyeva supported her husband – the actress believes that the spouses have nothing to excuse. She stated that she should be ashamed of Khabensky’s behavior. “We better justify ourselves to ourselves, but we have nothing to do! We’re fine!” he shared.
