Eduard Boyakov, former artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater, said in an interview with Katerina Gordeeva (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) that Russian women should be deprived of their right to vote in elections.

“Of course, the right to vote should be given to the head of the family, the man. The more children he has, the more votes he should have. The whole family should vote for this or that candidate,” he said. The director noted that his position would be “wild” for liberal-minded citizens.

Boyakov argues that all family members should vote for a candidate, but the family head will make the final decision. The artistic director of the New Theater believes that for him such a positioning is “absolutely clear and simple”.

Formerly Eduard Boyakov declarationThat Tatyana Doronina, the former artistic director of the Gorky Moscow Art Theater, was used to dismiss her. The director noted that when Boyakov was appointed artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater, his father asked him not to argue with Doronina in any case. According to her, she never quarreled with the actress during her time working in the theater.
