At a meeting with Mikhail Shvydkoy, the Representative of the President of the International Cultural Cooperation of the Russian Federation TASS TEFI television announced the rescheduling of the awards ceremony.
“As for the big national TEFI, the ceremony will most likely be held in late autumn, at the end of November,” said Shvydkoy.
The TEFI-2020 awards ceremony was scheduled to take place in 2020, but the organizers postponed the ceremony due to restrictions on preventing the spread of coronavirus infection. Then the organizers were afraid to hold public events in the fall – the traditional time for TEFI.
The TEFI Russian national television award for the highest achievements in the field of television arts was established on October 21, 1994 by the Foundation of the Russian Television Academy.
Previously Shvydkoi announced that TEFI was canceled in 2022.
