American actor, screenwriter and producer Matt Damon shared details about Christopher Nolan’s new movie Oppenheimer. Damon talked about his impressions of the movie and its timing in an interview with Variety.

The actor, who had watched Oppenheimer before, described the film as “fantastic” while also confirming previous information that the tape would run for about three hours and would be Nolan’s longest work. At the same time, Damon said that the painting didn’t waste a second and felt shorter than it actually was. Moreover, he was “shocked” when he learned his real timing after watching it.

Oppenheimer is the biography of Robert Oppenheimer, an American physicist and inventor of the atomic bomb. His role in the movie was played by Cillian Murphy, star of “Peaky Blinders” and “28 Days Later”. The movie also stars Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Gary Oldman, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh and Josh Hartnett. The movie is scheduled to be released on July 21.
