Russian President Vladimir Putin published Online The Kremlin telegram expressed condolences to the families and friends of the late actor Nikolai Dupak.
Nikolai Lukyanovich lived a wonderful, worthy life. He honorably walked the difficult front roads of the Great Patriotic War, and after the war he devoted himself to creative activities, made an important personal contribution to the development of the theater business, to the preservation of the legendary traditions of our multinational culture.
Putin emphasized that the bright memory of the artist will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew Dupak personally or through his works.
Dupak was born on October 5, 1921 in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. He graduated from the Theater School in Rostov-on-Don, the Opera and Drama Studio in Moscow and the Kiev Theater Institute. Dupak account has about 60 roles in movies. The greatest fame brought him roles in the films “Intervention”, “Two Comrades Served”, “Forty-First”, “Swamp”, “Bumbarash”.
Nikolai Dupak holds the titles of Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1980), Honored Artist of Ukraine (2012), Honored Artist of Moscow (2019).
