The international festival “Russian-Chinese Culture and Art Fair” will be held in Blagoveshchensk in the summer of 2023. TASS With reference to Daria Ulko, deputy director of the Amur Region Tourist Information Centre.
According to Ulko, there are many joint activities planned with China in the region. “The Russian-Chinese Art Fair starts this summer. This is an important event where we demonstrate our cultural potential.”
The Russian-Chinese Culture and Art Fair is held simultaneously in two states on both banks of the border river Amur, in Blagoveshchensk and Heihe. The festival, which was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, was partially transferred to the online format in 2021. Due to the difficult epidemiological situation in 2022, the festival’s solemn opening ceremony was held in August, and the main events before the opening ceremony were moved online.
