Moscow Ring Road (MKAD), Mira Boulevard and Varshavskoe Shosse became the most dangerous streets of Moscow in 2022, informs Based on the results of the analysis of traffic accident statistics for the company AlfaStrakhovanie, OSAGO and body insurance.
Thus, last year, 4.24% of all accidents occurred on the Moscow Ring Road. Analysts state that the number of accidents on this road has almost doubled during the year. According to the report, 3.76% of the crashes occurred on Mira Boulevard, where the number of potential crashes increases as they approach the Riga overpass, and at the exits of the Third Ring Road, where traffic intersects. The number of accidents on the Varshavskoye Highway also increased significantly (from 0.74% in 2021 to 1.63% in 2022).
The Leningradskoe and Dmitrovskoe highways were also among the top five most dangerous streets in the capital. The top ten are closed by Kashirskoye highway, Entuziastov highway, Volgogradsky Prospekt, Leninsky Prospekt and Shchelkovskoye highway.
It also turned out that in 2022 the most accidents occurred on the Moscow Ring Road and Prospekt Mira, as a result of which cars could not be repaired.
