The Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra under Maxim Alekseev will perform a concert in honor of Webber in the Great Hall. “The concert is dedicated to the upcoming anniversary of one of the greatest contemporary composers, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, who will turn 75 on March 22. The program included the famous Requiem and Fantasy on the themes of the musical The Phantom of the Opera, recited by the Philharmonic.
The program is included in the subscription to the philharmonic “Concerts in jeans and jeans”. The lament was performed by soprano Kristina Gontsa and tenor Ivan Ozhogin. Petersburg University Choir and St. Petersburg Chamber Choir. House of Music soloists Ravil Islyamov and Fyodor Amosov will perform at Fantasia.
