Visiting the International Women’s Day celebrations in the Tunisian capital on Sunday, the audience watched a costumed music and dance show about Russian women. The show also featured images of women from Slavic mythology, writes TASS.
The event is called “Everything is about her: the image of a woman in ancient Russian history.” It took place in the cultural center “Carthage”. The show, directed by Tatyana Barkash, was attended by more than 200 people, including Russians and Tunisians.
“At the same time, people came to live not only in the capital, but also in other regions,” said Yuri Zaitsev, head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Russian House) in Tunisia.
According to him, for the first time in Tunisia the audience managed to get acquainted with the traditions of the ancient Slavs so deeply.
Congratulating the residents of the country on March 8, earlier North Korean officials said, He insisted increasing the birth rate as the “greatest patriotic” act of women to help the country increase its military strength.
