“For ten years I hosted the program ‘The Cleverest’, which was watched by the whole country and where several generations of children grew up,” said Kandelaki. “Children of today are very different and I see how the internet has had a positive impact on them ten years from now. They are free, they are very good, they are no less knowledgeable than they used to be. Life is always moving forward and I believe people are getting better from generation to generation.”
The “Smarter Than Everyone” show is an augmented reality intellectual game where participants and presenter interact with interactive 3D graphics. Virtual digital objects appear in a spaceship-like studio, displaying questions and answers.
Children between the ages of 6 and 14 take the exam. Among them are experts in programming, geopolitics, music theory, chess, vexillology, aircraft modelling, mental arithmetic, serpentology, and other knowledge areas.
The press service explained that viewers have the opportunity to participate in the test remotely. During the live broadcast, a QR code will appear on the screen, thanks to this code, viewers will be able to enter the application on VKontakte, play the game and receive rewards if they win.
