The exhibition consists of two parts, one describing the development of the style and the other devoted to the history of the “Korol i Shut” group. “Viewers can follow the origin and development of the style in the West, its later life and emergence in Russia, as well as the history of the Korol i Shut group, which passed through and transformed itself. In addition, the exhibition includes exhibits devoted to the theme of Soviet punk: samizdat magazines of the rock list “Okorok”, the Moscow rock laboratory “SHIFT” almanacs of the early 90s, cassettes and magnetic albums of the “first Soviet punks” , Peter Mamonov’s typewriter Yanka Diaghileva’ Manuscripts of lyrics, black and white photographs of the famous Igor Mukhin.
