The script was based on the novel “Forever” by lawyer and historian Alexander Zvyagintsev about the Nuremberg trials – the trial of the leaders of Nazi Germany in 1945.
According to the plot, Captain Igor Volgin, who knows several foreign languages, comes to Nuremberg as part of the Soviet delegation. The film features Sergey Kempo, Lyubov Aksenova, Evgeny Mironov, Sergey Bezrukov, Alexei Bardukov, Wolfgang Czerny, as well as artists from the USA, England, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Austria, Denmark and other countries. “It is difficult to overestimate the role of the Court in the formation of a modern architecture of international law, which ensures the immunity of the world-historical consequences of the Great Victory.
