Oscar winner Morgan Neville will make a documentary about the life of musician Paul McCartney after he left The Beatles. It has been reported deadline.

The working title of the movie was Man on the Run. “This is a unique and profound look at a pivotal period in the life of one of history’s most important recording artists, songwriters and performers. This is an intimate behind-the-scenes account of how Paul left The Beatles to tour the Wings that set the standard for live shows in the 1970s.

Director Morgan Neville said he was delighted to discover “this defining moment in the life and work of a great artist”. Biopic producer Michelle Anthony added that the film will be based on the love story of Linda and Paul McCartney. Creators will also have “unprecedented access” to material from the musicians’ family’s personal archive.

The release date of The Man on the Run is unknown.
