After the video went viral on the internet, the musician commented on the incident.
“Anyone who comes to say hello, say something or just get to know me is always greeted with interest and respect. [Действия] Those who come to put a damn phone in my face, I will consider what they are – disrespectful and I will treat them accordingly,” Bad Bunny wrote. He also accompanied his post with the hashtag #SinCojonesMeTiene, which can be translated as “I don’t care”.
