Mean Girls dancer, choreographer, educator, and musical participant Stephanie Bissonnette has died at the age of 32. It has been reported Hollywood Reporter.
The dancer made her Broadway debut in the original musical Mean Girls in 2018, where she played Don Schweitzer. She also starred in Ensemble, a documentary about Broadway dancers.
On the show’s official Twitter account, “Our hearts are broken as the Mean Girls community mourns the loss of Stephanie Bissonnette.”
“Our original Don Schweitzer, Stephanie, was a part of our Broadway company from our first performance to our last performance. He filled our theater with his laughter and friendship, inspired us with his fighting spirit and courage, and graced our stage with the wildest talent Broadway has ever seen.
