A USB port had to be installed in the upper (central) glove compartment of the Lada Grants to power smartphones.
- I installed an outlet with a switch drilled into a hole with a crown in the right wall of the box.
- Connected to the cigarette lighter wires through the fuse.
- I mount the smartphone with a foldable magnetic holder attached to the inside of the lid of the box.
Now it is convenient to use it as a navigator. There are no extra wires, the screen is in sight, but the view does not interfere. At the same time, it is convenient to keep it charged by closing the lid.
