– What will your character Fedor experience in the comedy “Yolki 9”?

— My character, the kind and naive role-player Fedor, is torn between his friends and his girlfriend on New Year’s Eve. This is the continuation of his story in the eighth “Christmas Trees”. He has matured a bit, met a girl for six months and now has a dilemma with whom to celebrate the holiday.

– Do you have any similarities in character with the kind and naive Fyodor?

– Not. As long as he’s not kind, we’re alike in that regard.

Where and when did the shooting take place?

— We started shooting this spring in a village in the Leningrad region, not far from Karelia. In early March, the shooting of the first short story began with Fedor Dobronravov and Misha Orlov. Immediately after, we continued shooting in Moscow. Everything was shot in the spring.

– Were there any difficulties on set? Was there still snow?

– The main problem was that the snow was already melting and had to be collected with bulldozers from the fields. It was an expedition far from Moscow that created difficulties in the busy schedule of the actors. But that’s the executive producer’s problem.

— Do you remember any non-standard cases from the expedition?

– We were a little behind when shooting in Karelia, and the main film crew went to film the arrival of Fedor Dobronravov on a snowmobile. And we are with Dima Baluev (screenwriter – about “socialbites.ca”) It remained to shoot the scene with Misha Orlov and the bear. When you see the scene with the bear, know that Dima and I filmed it.

Was it scary to work with a bear?

– Yes. As soon as the bear enters the site, everyone starts to get nervous. I was at the playback myself, the guys interacted with it. If I was offered to touch him, of course I would consider it. Even though we’re with Regina (Evgeny’s wife – about “socialbites.ca”) shot a video with a bear at home – they brought him directly to the apartment. Regina fed him, took his hand. It is clear that he is educated, but there is still an inner fear.

How was the shooting speed? Have you had time to communicate with colleagues, joint free time?

– We did not have much time to approach, the employment was constant – we had to complete tasks, shoot a lot of shots in a limited time. But things were going very well, working with professional artists was a pleasure.

— Have you watched the first films of the Yolki series? Did you like this series?

– To be honest, I was not a fan of “Yolok”. Once, 10 years ago, of course, I watched the first episodes. I watched the BadComedian reviews and laughed. I agree with most of the comments, we tried to fix it.

– Did you imagine yourself as the screenwriter and actor of the main role in “Christmas Trees”?

– No, at that time I was far from the cinema.

– You have just returned from Yekaterinburg, where you presented the film to your compatriots. How do you feel when you return to your hometown?

– Of course I miss Yekaterinburg and appreciate every return to my hometown. Many of my friends and relatives came to see what I’ve been doing all this year.

– How many friends do you have left that appeared before you became a star?

– Of course, I have friends with whom I communicate as before.

— How did you meet in Yekaterinburg? Are you photographed in your hometown more often than others?

Yes, they are suitable for taking pictures. And convenient in Moscow and everywhere. But most often they appear in Nizhny Novgorod, because there we shot the movie “I’m losing weight” – locals love this movie very much. I don’t really stay long in Yekaterinburg – when I come, I go to the village, to my parents’ cottage.

– You recently had a second child – Fedor’s son. How does it feel to combine a stormy creative activity with fatherhood?

– Hard. But thanks to my dear wife, we are doing well.

Do you think you spend enough time with your baby?

— Quite a lot of time — I work mostly at home. During the shooting process, I recently set off for a short while. Almost 24/7 with a child.

Do you write scripts at home?

– Yes, Dima Baluev comes to visit me, I have an office here. We sit and work.

How do you feel when you look at your son?

– When I look at Fedya, it is still not clear. Looks great. Honestly it takes me a long time to get used to it. I need about half a year or a year to understand how to exist in the new reality. with Sofia (Eugene’s two-year-old daughter – about “socialbites.ca”) is generally fun, you can hang out with him directly. very funny girl

– They named their son Fedor, after the name of your hero in Yolki. Is it related or did it happen by chance?

– Fluke. “I love the name Fedor,” says Regina. “Me too” I say. She says: “Shall we say so?” “Come on” I say.

Do you want to play a dramatic role?

– Just a dramatic role – no, I’m not really interested. But drama, tragicomedy – yes. Our tragicomedy is the “Two” series aired on KION. And playing drama or something is so boring. Yes, and basically I only shoot projects that I write myself now. But I’m still interested in writing comedy.

– What are you working on right now?

– We just finished “Yolki”, there will be a short rest – a month. And so, now that we’re going to shoot a full meter soon, we’re done writing another script. We’ll start filming in the spring, but I won’t say more for now.

— Are you following KVN now? In the 10 years since you played on the voice team, have you noticed a change in humor?

– No, I don’t follow at all. But overall, the humor has probably become more outspoken, poignant and sharp. I don’t know about the censorship because I don’t watch KVN. Personally, I did not limit myself to anything – I joke about what I like.

— What do you think about the provocations in humor?

– Provocations only come into play at the beginning of their career, when they want attention. When you are already a successful artist, it is better not to do this. Provocation is easy, but gentle, bright, non-provocative humor is difficult. Therefore, comedians with a lot of baggage are better not to do this.

– Will the Golos KVN team come with the humor source now? For example, if you create an account on TikTok for him.

– It’s hard to judge, now we would have done things somehow differently. But that was exactly the format, I don’t know.

– Have you noticed that the “voices” are imitated by other teams?

— The Fiztekh team was roughly similar. First we played with them, then they played “tower”. (KVN First League – about “socialbites.ca”) crashed and leaned towards science. But they didn’t take us to the “tower”. But I don’t regret anything.

– Have you dreamed of becoming an actress while playing in KVN?

– When I played in KVN, I worked as an interior designer. He had no thought of becoming a professional artist. This happened by chance. They saw me in KVN, they called me to the casting of the Ostrov series on TNT. I went to the casting, got approved. He shot in “Island” and began to shoot sketches on Instagram (the owner of the Meta company was recognized as an extremist in Russia and was banned). And we’re leaving.

– And now you have completely stopped sketching?

A big movie takes up all your time. I go to bed and wake up thinking about the movie I’m making right now. Moreover, “Yolki” is a huge responsibility, a ten-year franchise with many fans. Restarting is a huge burden of responsibility for the people who love it and wait for it. The reluctance to lose face and this responsibility does not allow you to relax. I devote all my free time to finishing the movie.

– Does this rhythm of life inspire you or is it difficult?

– It’s very stressful – I would like it to be easier, of course. But what can you do – we do our best.

— How do you plan to rest after the presentation of the movie?

– I’m thinking of going to my parents’ cottage near Yekaterinburg.
