Europe”, (1989).

In 1998 he published ‘El corto verano de la anarquía’, a fictional biography of the Spaniard Buenaventura Durruti, and produced a new translation of Federico García Lorca’s ‘La casa de Bernarda Alba’.

Enzensberger He was in the German army between 1944-45. Erlangem worked as a translator and bartender until he began studying German, literature and philosophy at the universities of Breisgau, Freiburg, Hamburg and the Sorbonne in Paris. He received his doctorate in 1955 with a thesis on the poetic theory of the romantic writer Clemens Brentano.
