Chastain himself is indifferent to Bond and has now admitted that he would refuse if he was offered the role of beloved agent 007. Host Jimmy Fallon suggested that the new Bond might be played by a woman, and wondered if Chastain would be interested in playing the spy himself. The actor also denied this question.
However, Chastain has revealed that he will be interested in playing the main villain in future films in the series. “I want to play the hero who will torment Bond,” he joked.
