The bank’s press service announced that Alfa-Bank has become the first in Russia to eliminate all payment and transfer commissions for individuals. This move removes charges for card-to-card transfers and payments made through Alfa-Online, via a phone number using SBP, including transfers exceeding 100,000 rubles, and for card-to-card transfers in rubles to most foreign banks. In addition, customers can settle electricity bills, taxes, penalties, and a broad range of services from utilities to TV and Internet without any fees.

To take advantage of free payments and transfers, customers must obtain an Alfa-Card that includes a free service plan. Existing Alfa-Bank debit cardholders will soon be able to activate the service, with options also available through in-app chat support.

As a baseline benefit, Alfa-Premium and A-Club clients already enjoy commission-free payments and transfers, reflecting the bank’s ongoing commitment to lowering the cost of everyday financial operations for its most loyal customers.
