According to him, accumulating yuan and making international payments in Chinese currency are not the best ideas for the Russian economy.
“What are you going to do with the yuan? If you can’t buy anything with this yuan. The Chinese manufacturer is not quite ready to conclude a contract with our importers in yuan. They don’t need it in the first place. They’re still focusing on the dollar,” Gruzdev concluded.
