Serbian Mining and Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said the republic will not cut off electricity supply to citizens, unlike France, Italy and Germany. The head of the Ministry of Energy stated this in an interview with the TV channel. RTS .

“Every day we hear that many countries in Europe – France, Italy, the UK, Germany – are already placing restrictions. “We[the Serbian government]said we would fight as much as we could to ensure there were no restrictions,” he said.

According to him, the state will allocate hundreds of millions of euros for these purposes. The Minister of Mines and Energy added that the country’s government will do everything to ensure that the republic has enough electricity and heat for households and the economy.
