According to him, he had made the decision to buy gas from Russia himself, and during his visit to Moscow, he stated that 732 million cubic meters of gas “cannot be bought on the market without Russian resources”.
“So I want to buy this amount partly from Russia and partly from other Western trade sources,” added Szijjártó.
At the same time, the head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the negotiations are ongoing and “does not want to speculate” about their outcome. Szijjarto promised to announce his results next week.
